All information and content on the Veranoe Store website (hereinafter referred to as the “Veranoe Store”) including all Veranoe Store features, tools and Services provided by Veranoe by and through the Veranoe Store (collectively the “Services”) has been carefully curated for your shopping pleasure and thus, you can shop with confidence at the Veranoe Store.
Our store is powered by Shopify and therefore we are able to provide you with the best shopping experience while you browse online.
This Privacy Policy applies to Veranoe’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information when you use our store or visit our website, or otherwise interact with us through other means. The Privacy Policy describes our practices and applies to information collected by us through all of our Services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT OR PROCESS

Excluded from personal information are anonymous information and information that has been made non-personal (i.e. de-identified information).

Contact information: name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address.
Payment and financial information: Your payment method, payment confirmation, transaction details, and payment-card or financial-account information.
Account information: Information regarding your account with Veranoe including your username and password, the security questions and information that you provided in case you need to have your account recovered, your preferences, and your account settings.
Shopping and transaction information: Such as the products you view, place in your shopping cart, add to your wishlist and which you in the end purchase, as well as all your previous transactions such as returns and exchanges and canceled orders.
We collect Communications information, including information that you provide to us in connection with your contacting us (e.g. information that you provide to us in connection with a customer service inquiry, a return, a review or any other type of communication with us).
Device Information: Information about the Device or computer you last used to access the Services, such as what type of Device it is; what Browser (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Safari) you were last using; what Network Connection you were on when last you accessed the Services; etc. Your IP address or other online identifier also may be collected as personal information.
Usage information: Such as how and when you use the Services to access, browse, and interact with the information there offered.

To Shopfiy and service providers that support our store and Services, for example: hosting, IT services, payment gateways, fraud prevention, analytics and data enhancement, customer service, cloud based storage, logistics and fulfillment, shipping providers and other third party service providers that we use from time to time to support our store and the Services we provide to you.
Business and marketing partners: Our business and marketing partners, for example, companies that help us market or advertise our products and Services.
Parties you direct or authorize: This would include for example delivery providers, social-media platforms, login integrations to other services etc. where you request us to pass information to them.
Affiliates: Information may also be disclosed to other entities within our corporate group, as the case may be.

SHOPIFY’S ROLE
Shopify is the host of the Services and as such Shopify collects and processes information that relates to the use of the Services by you.
Information submitted through the Services will be transmitted to Shopify and other third parties providing services related to the Services, in countries around the world.
We may use Shopify features which combine the information we have collected about your interactions with our store and the information Shopify and other merchants have collected about your interactions with Shopify and with them. Where Shopify processes personal information in this way Shopify shall be considered the “data controller” and we or Shopify shall deal with any data subject requests in respect of such processing.

As such, we cannot be held responsible for the privacy, security, accuracy or reliability of third-party websites, applications, or online services. In addition, information that you provide through public or semi-public spaces (e.g. social media) can be picked up by other users of that space and can be used by those users or by the provider of that space.
Any information posted on our Services in public or semi-public areas, such as online forums, or on third party social networking sites, could be viewed, used or collected by users of those areas or services. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of information contained in comments or postings on any Site other than Veranoe’s Sites.
Inclusion of a third-party link does not imply endorsement of such third party, where he or she you may be able to find such information or service, by Veranoe, such third party’s content or service.
CHILDREN’S PERSONAL INFORMATION
Children. The Services are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of majority in such individual’s jurisdiction. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that we have collected personal information from your child (individual under the age of majority in such individual’s jurisdiction), you may contact us at info@veranoe.com to request that we delete such information from our databases.
We do not knowingly collect or use personal information from children under the age of majority in any jurisdiction. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under the age of majority in any jurisdiction and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete the information from our systems.
At this time, Veranoe has no information that it sells or shares “child information” as defined in applicable law (e.g. California Under 16, EU Under 16, etc.) as of the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
SECURITY AND RETENTION
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect your Personal Information.
We cannot guarantee absolute security as no security system is perfect or impenetrable. Furthermore, information that you send to us over the internet may be vulnerable to interception whilst in transit. Therefore, we must ask that you do NOT use an unsecured channel to send sensitive or confidential information to us.
Information will be held for a period that is deemed necessary in order to maintain your account, to provide you with the Services, to complete any transactions that you undertake using the Services, to comply with any applicable legal or regulatory requirements, to resolve any disputes, to prevent fraud and to enable us to enforce our agreements and to comply with any applicable policies and procedures.
We will retain and process personal information for so long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Once that purpose is no longer applicable, we will delete or de-identify personal information that we no longer need to maintain.

Right to restrict or object to processing: In some cases you will have the option to restrict our processing of your personal data or object for us to process it for certain purposes.
Withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent to process information, you can withdraw this at any time.
Right to appeal: Depending on your location, you may also have the right to appeal our decision with respect to your privacy request.
These rights are not absolute. Some of the rights listed above will only apply in specific circumstances, and in some cases we may refuse your request for reasons set out in applicable law.
GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
We also treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals enabled by end users to opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activities where required by applicable law for the browser or device on which the GPC signal is enabled. Where the device sending the GPC signal can be associated with a Shopify account, Shopify will also apply the end user’s opt out to that account.
Shopify may also honor a Global Privacy Control signal if the device sending the signal can be associated with a Shopify account.

MARKETING PREFERENCES
We give you lots of ways to unsubscribe from promotional emails. Simply click on the “unsubscribe" link in any promotional email that we send to you.
Note that even when you have opted out of receiving marketing communications, we may still send you other types of communications, including: account-related messages, order and transaction updates, return information, security alerts and customer service requests.
EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

We will not be any worse off off for processing your request.
Please allow us to verify your identity as required by applicable law before processing your request. If you are acting on another’s behalf (such as parents acting for a child under the age of 18), we may require your permission to verify your identity as well as require proof that the authorized person is entitled to act on such person’s behalf. We will then verify the identity of the person who made the request as well as the identity of the authorized person.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect any changes to our practices as well as to comply with any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
This Policy will change from time to time and when we do make changes to this Policy, we’ll post the updates on this website. The updated Policy will apply to you immediately and we’ll post the updated date at the bottom of this webpage. Where required by applicable law, we also will provide additional notice of material changes before they become effective.
